Reilly (@hey_reilly) is an illustrator, graphic designer and artist. Reilly’s understanding of branding and corporate semantics, tied in with an ability to render fashion as ironically as possible, has led him to Fendi, where he worked on their FW18 show.

The collection itself includes t-shirts, parkas, jackets, trousers, jeans, sneakers and other genderless accessories from backpacks to pouches. All of which are decorated with the label’s signature double-F logo, mashed together with Fila trademark colors.

Unveiled at the Fall/Winter 2018-19 Women’s fashion show in Milan, the FENDI MANIA capsule collection blends luxury fashion with the style of an iconic sportswear brand that was hugely popular among top-level athletes in the 1980s. The exciting collection spans ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories for women, men and children.

Silvia Venturini Fendi (Creative Director of Fendi) found Reilly via Instagram. He had been working on his personal project called FAKENEWS, mashing up brand logos that clashed in a messed-up way. He made a piece using Fendi spliced up with FILA which Silvia found and reposted to her IG account. Initially when she got in touch Reilly thought it was to slap a lawsuit on him! But she really loved it and asked if he wanted to collaborate with her and the Fendi menswear brand.
